Health and Safety Policy

Midmed Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned supplier of medical, surgical, dental and hospital consumables and equipment. Midmed commits to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all workers, visitors and others affected by our operations, in order to improve OHS performance and eliminate work-related injury and illness.

To achieve these aims, Midmed has established and implemented an integrated management system (IMS) incorporating the requirements of ISO45001:2018. As a central tenet of its system, Midmed’s top management sets measurable OHS objectives and targets, which it endeavours to achieve.

Midmed’s overall OHS objectives are the following:

• Providing a safe and healthy workplace and working conditions for all, including all workers, customers and visitors;
• Complying with all relevant OHS legislation and other requirements placed upon Midmed by other stakeholders or itself;
• Maintaining and continually improving Midmed’s IMS and OHS performance, toward an aim of zero harm.

Objectives and targets are recorded in the organisation’s Strategies and Objectives Register and formally reviewed at management review.

This policy has been implemented throughout Midmed, including communication to all workers. The policy is made available to all workers and interested parties.

This policy is reviewed for continuing suitability via management review.
